About Me: I’m passionate about neuroscience, medicine, and creating change through service and education. My goal is to become a neurosurgeon who advances access to care and equity in healthcare.

Why LinguaLink: I founded LinguaLink, a student-led language exchange community that supports immigrants facing language barriers. I’m also exploring research topics like HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND) and building leadership experience through school and community initiatives.

I’m committed to growing in STEM, giving back through service, and connecting with others who care about health, equity, and innovation.

Why LinguaLink: I really love languages and their diversity. For me, language is not only a way of communicating it is also a way of understanding a person, their culture, identity, and way of thinking. I want to learn more about languages and understand why learning and knowing about different languages is so important not only for me, but also for helping others appreciate and understand linguistic diversity. That’s why I joined LinguaLink.

Languages Spoken: English (fluent), Bengali (native), Hindi (oral), Chinese (HSK 3)

Fun Fact: The diversity of animals really fascinates me, and I also love psychology and have participated in many webinars, seminars, and tests!
